The voiqq Accessibility browser extension is a local-first productivity tool for professional auditors. It runs axe-core inside the browser tab you are already using, then sends normalized finding candidates to the authorized voiqq project. voiqq does not operate a remote browser or automated certification service.
How the integration works
The extension uses Manifest V3 and the current bundled axe-core release. Scan processing happens in the browser. The extension does not capture screenshots, record browsing sessions, generate PDFs, or send raw axe output directly into the project.
What you need
- Google Chrome or another Chromium browser that supports Manifest V3
- A signed-in voiqq account and an Accessibility project
- Authorization to assess every page in the URL list
- The downloaded extension ZIP extracted to a stable folder
A practical workflow
- Download and extract the extension ZIP
- Open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, and choose Load unpacked
- Select the extracted folder that contains manifest.json
- Open voiqq, sign in, and connect the extension from Auto-populate
- Submit page URLs, monitor progress, and validate every Pending candidate
What enters the project
- Page URL and title
- axe rule, impact, help reference, selector, and HTML evidence
- Failure summary and mapped WCAG checkpoints
- Browser, axe-core version, source, and scan timestamp
- Deterministic fingerprints used for rescan evidence refresh
